Cantemus

Cantemus is open to all 9th-grade tenor-bass singers – no audition required. The choir participates in concerts, field trips, and festivals throughout the year.

Most singers discover that the camaraderie of choir and the joy of making music together helps make the transition from middle school to high school a lot easier. Many enroll simply to earn their required arts credit, but they become hooked by the experience of singing every day and decide to stay in choir throughout their high school career.

In 2013-14, Cantemus participated in St. Cloud State University’s Men’s Chorus Festival. It was the first time in school history that Cantemus was selected to perform at such a high-level festival. The entire experience – from the charter bus ride to performing with college and adult choirs – was spectacular!
